Natalie S. Lewis, CFE, is a senior vice president at consulting firm J.S. Held, LLC, where she specializes in forensic accounting and the analysis of economic damages. With over 15 years of experience, Ms. Lewis provides consulting and expert services for both plaintiff and defense law firms throughout the country. She has conducted fraud investigations for companies of all sizes, ranging from small closely held businesses to Fortune 500 companies and government entities. Her investigations have spanned the globe and include various internal investigations, embezzlement, Ponzi schemes, commercial crime insurance claims, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and asset misappropriation.
Lewis has been actively involved with the ACFE for 10 years and is a member of its Georgia Chapter. She received the AICPA’s Standing Ovation award in 2019 for her work in forensic accounting and regularly speaks on timely topics in forensic accounting and fraud investigations at universities, law firms and conferences. She has been published in Fraud Magazine and the Journal of Accountancy.
Lewis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Brenau University.
