UAE Accountability Authority to Host 2024 ACFE Fraud Conference Middle East

The UAE Accountability Authority (UAEAA) partners with the world’s largest organization of anti-fraud professionals to host the premier educational event for fraud fighters in the Middle East.
AUSTIN, Texas (Feb. 19, 2024) — The 2024 ACFE Fraud Conference Middle East hosted by the UAE Accountability Authority will take place 26-27 February in Abu Dhabi. The annual event will gather anti-fraud professionals from around the region for two days of informative educational sessions and networking.

Mohamed Rashed Al Zaabi, Undersecretary of the UAEAA, will begin the event with a special address on behalf of the conference host. Geoff White, an investigative journalist, bestselling author and podcast creator, will present the opening keynote session on uncovering the tactics that organized cyber criminals often deploy, as well as speak on the Lazarus cybercrime in North Korea, which is the topic of his latest book, "The Lazarus Heist: From Hollywood to High Finance." Mohammed Qahtani, change management expert and winner of the Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking, will keynote day two's opening session with a discussion on the steps fraud examiners should take to adapt to change during evolving circumstances and risk landscapes.
The conference will also feature 12 breakout sessions on a variety of fraud topics, including COP28 compliance and fraud implications, mobile money fraud, hybrid work's effects on occupational fraud and more.
