The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) will be hosting its 19th Annual Fraud Conference & Exhibition on July 13-18, 2008 in Boston, featuring an opening keynote address by Senator George Mitchell and presenting sessions covering cutting-edge fraud issues such as: identity theft red flags, mortgage fraud, healthcare fraud in America, fraud and technology, construction fraud, and many more.
Other keynote speakers include U.S. Assistant Attorney General Alice S. Fisher and convicted fraudster Patrick Kuhse, who will be on hand to provide their unique perspectives on fraud.
In addition to a lineup of compelling keynote speakers, the conference offers more than 60 educational sessions for anti-fraud professionals, and a traveling Fraud Museum exhibit, “Centuries of Scams,” will provide the unique opportunity to travel through fraud’s dynamic history in the most extensive and eclectic collection of historical fraud pieces.
The conference will be held at Boston’s John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center where Certified Fraud Examiners (CFEs), investigators, auditors, CPAs, attorneys, law enforcement officers and other professionals – whose duties include safeguarding their company or their clients from fraud – will be in attendance to share knowledge and increase their fraud-fighting skills.
