For years, Fraud Magazine® has been an industry-leader and trusted source for the latest trends, tools and techniques in the anti-fraud profession. As the world of fraud prevention, detection and investigation evolves, so too does the ACFE’s commitment to providing timely and relevant insights that advance the work of our global membership and readers. That is why we are excited to announce the upcoming launch of a new Fraud-Magazine.com experience coming in 2025!

The Transition to Digital

As part of this exciting shift, Fraud Magazine will transition to become a fully digital, online publication. The January/February 2025 issue will be the final printed and shipped version of the magazine, honoring the publication’s long history and celebrating its growth into the future.

Why Go Digital?

The ACFE began creating and distributing printed magazines to members in 1996 under the name “The White Paper” before launching Fraud Magazine® in 2004. The publication has evolved with our membership over the years. It’s changed names, expanded its reach and page count, and added more articles and features that cover all that fraud prevention and detection now encompasses.

As technology has advanced, it has become more important than ever that the ACFE provide Fraud Magazine content and actionable insights that can be applied to our members’ work quickly and efficiently. Thanks to feedback from ACFE members and many conversations helping to inform this decision, the ACFE feels strongly that an improved online publication provides far greater benefits to today’s anti-fraud professionals than a printed magazine. The production times between writing, designing, printing and shipping traditional magazines no longer meet the urgent needs of our global community in a modern-day, tech-driven world. By transitioning our focus and resources to supporting a fully digital publication, we can close that gap, delivering timely and relevant content directly to you online with new features — and without the wait.

What is New?

More Timely, Relevant Content

Fraud Magazine will now publish articles online throughout the year in addition to its six full issues published bi-monthly, providing you with real-time insights, tools and tips to tackle fraud faster and better serve your needs.

Enhanced Search and Navigation

Finding exactly what you are looking for will be easier than ever. With improved topic and industry search features and a comprehensive archive of content throughout the years, you will have instant access to a wealth of knowledge and insights as the fraud fight evolves.

Sleek, Modern Design

The new website will feature a cleaner and more intuitive layout, making it easier to read, share and interact with articles, case studies and expert insights. In addition, new dynamic article formats and multimedia content will help bring these important stories to life.

The ACFE is excited for this enhanced online platform to empower fraud fighters with the most up-to-date and accessible information available. We are excited about the future of Fraud Magazine and the knowledge and opportunities it offers to the global anti-fraud community. If you have questions about these changes, please contact an ACFE Member Services Representative at 800-245-3321 or by email at MemberServices@ACFE.com

Stay tuned for the relaunch of Fraud-Magazine.com and take your anti-fraud knowledge to the next level in 2025!
