ACFE Call for Fraudsters

Share your story and make a difference.

Are you a convicted fraudster looking to make a positive impact? At the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), we believe that your story has the power to educate and prevent future fraud. By sharing your experiences, you can help professionals understand how fraud happens, how it can be prevented and how it affects everyone involved.

Why Share Your Story?

  • Educate and Prevent: Your insights can help businesses and individuals understand the mindset of a fraudster to recognize and prevent fraud.
  • Be Heard: Share your experience and help others understand the circumstances and decisions that led to your actions.
  • Acknowledgment: Upon request, the ACFE can provide a letter to your parole or probation officer acknowledging your contribution. Your interview may very well constitute community service.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking candid, honest accounts of your experiences, including:

  • How your scheme started and evolved.
  • The factors that contributed to your decisions.
  • How the fraud could have been prevented.
  • How you were eventually caught.

Your Story Matters

Your story may be featured in one of the ACFE's many forms of content, such as:

  • An on-camera interview for fraud training content.
  • An article in Fraud Magazine
  • A live webinar and/or conference interview.
  • Fraud Talk, the ACFE's monthly podcast.

Interested in Participating?

Please fill out the form below, and our team will get in touch with you. Your participation* is voluntary, and your story will be used to educate and inform others about fraud prevention.

*The ACFE does not compensate convicted fraudsters.
