In-House Fraud Investigation Teams: 2017 Benchmarking Report

The ACFE’s newest report highlights data from ACFE members who work as a part of in-house teams performing fraud investigations for their employing organizations. As benchmarking has grown more popular as a means to identify best practices, we have frequently heard from our members about a desire to benchmark their organizations’ internal fraud investigation teams. To help meet this need, we surveyed ACFE members regarding the performance, structure and operations of their organizations’ internal fraud investigation teams. The results of this survey are presented in the In-House Fraud Investigation Teams: 2017 Benchmarking Report.

Key Findings

The information provided in this report can be used to compare an investigation team with teams at other organizations of a similar size or in the same industry. It can also help improve investigation teams’ processes and allocation of resources.
