Description

This event will be available online and in-person. Learn more about the in-person option taking place in New York, NY.

According to the 2022 Compensation Guide for Anti-Fraud Professionals, CFEs earn 17% more than their non-certified colleagues.

CFEs have a unique set of skills that are not found in any other career field or discipline; they combine knowledge of complex financial transactions with an understanding of methods, law, and how to resolve allegations of fraud. Fraud examiners are also trained to understand not only how fraud occurs, but why.

Master the skills and knowledge you need to pass the CFE Exam by attending the Virtual CFE Exam Review Course. This instructor-led virtual course will help you master the concepts tested on the CFE Exam — Financial Transactions and Fraud Schemes, Law, Investigation, and Fraud Prevention and Deterrence. This course, in combination with the CFE Exam Prep Course software, will provide you with an unbeatable combination for passing the exam.

Each Virtual CFE Exam Review Course registrant will be mailed a course workbook. If you cancel prior to the course start date, you will have the option to pay $249 to keep the course workbook or mail back the workbook within 10 days after the course start date to avoid being charged the $249 workbook fee.

Prerequisites

This course is designed to review material required to pass the CFE Exam. Independent study with the CFE Exam Prep Course prior to attendance is strongly recommended.

You Will Learn How To:

Recognize common fraud schemes that affect individuals and organizations around the world.

Detect and prevent fraudulent behavior within and outside of your organization through fraud risk assessment and management.

Analyze the principal causes of fraud and identify red flags indicative of fraudulent practices.

Implement effective interview techniques and report the findings of your investigation.

Assess the legal rights and limitations within your fraud examinations and identify applicable legislation.
